Fred played a pivotal role in the mid-week Champions League win against Paris Saint-Germain but the Brazilian failed to help his teammates avoid the 2-0 loss at the Emirates. Nevertheless, the 26-year-old is happy with his performance against the Gunners.
“I think it was a good match for me, and I hope I can continue doing good work,” the former Shakhtar Donetsk man added.
“For the next games, I hope to be inside the field helping the team, but if not, I’ll be helping them with motivation. Now we’ll move forward, keeping our heads up and looking for the victories.”
