Lupita Nyongó, the Kenyan Oscar award-winning actress was accompanied by her parents to the global premiere of her latest movie ‘Us’ at the South by South West Festival. Lupita who looked dazzling in a white cut out trouser suit was pictured alongside her father Prof Anyang Nyong’o and mother Dorothy Nyong’o in a picture she posted on Instagram.
The film festival is meant to celebrate raw innovation and emerging talent from both behind and in front of the camera. The thriller movie ‘Us’ starring Lupita and Winston Duke has been directed by Jordan Peele and is said to lean more on the horror side than his previous award-winning film ‘Get out’.
The movie which centres on a couple who took their family to a beach house for vacation spends time with another family but things change when their house they are staying in is broken into by their look-alike and here is where all the actions begin. The film is set to be released on March 22, 2019.
