Women Used Their Day to Teach a Chauvinist Man a Lesson-Video

An unidentified man was on Friday beaten up by a group of women for allegedly denying his wife the right to join her friends in celebrating the International Women’s Day.

The video shared by Daily Nation on social media shows the man in a drunken stupor on the wrong end of the women’s anger.

In the clip, he is seen pretending to have passed out just to stop the onslaught from the visibly angered women.

Women from all around Kenya marked their day in pomp and colour during their choreographed peaceful demonstrations.

Gender equality dominated most of the speeches read out by various women leaders across various counties.

In Nairobi, a group held a demonstration outside Parliament buildings to protest the recent surge in femicide cases within the country in the past year.

On the other hand, their counterparts in Mombasa held protests against the recent failure to pass the two-thirds gender bill in the National Assembly.

Various influential women took to social media to post quotes of encouragement for their fellow women.

At the popular coke studio project, an announcement was made of an all-female episode on March 29 to mark the International Women’s Day.

It is a day held dear by women across the world which explains the assault of the drunkard who tried to prevent his wife from finding a way to celebrate the day with millions across the country and world in general.
