Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho and Tanzania bongo star are known to be very good friends.
Just recently he excited Kenyans on social media after a video emerged where he was seen showcasing his dancing skills while grooving to Ali Kiba’s new hit Kadogo.
In the short video which was widely shared saw Governor Joho alongside Likoni MP Mishi Mboko dance to the beat of the song that is currently topping charts across East Africa.
It is, however, not a coincidence that Joho was dancing along to the song sang by the bongo flava music heavyweight.
Kadogo on its intro specifically mentions 001, the governor’s beloved slogan and county number. A perfect homage from Ali Kiba to Mombasa’s senior-most man and personal friend.
As Kenyans ushered the New Year 2019, Joho went out of his way to treat Ali Kiba’s fans to a free concert by paying the gate fees at Mama Ngina Drive.
