This is why Man City’s Sergio Aguero was named Premier League Player of the month

Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero has been named Premier League Player of the Month for February.

The Argentinian has scored six times in his last four matches, propelling Man City back to the top of the log.

He scored hat-tricks in consecutive home fixtures against Arsenal and Chelsea, taking his season tally to 18.

Aguero is firmly entrenched in the Premier League’s golden boot race alongside Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur, and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang of Arsenal.

Sergio AgΓΌero has scored 96 goals in the PL at the Etihad since joining in 2011. He’s behind Alan Shearer (97), Wayne Rooney (101) and Thierry Henry (114) for ‘most goals scored at a single PL ground’.
