Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that he was not left anything by former manager Jose Mourinho apart from the club’s history books.

Mourinho was shown the door in December after a string of poor results that saw the club post the worst start to an English Premier League season. Solskjaer has overseen a complete turnaround guiding the club to an improbable come back win against Paris Saint Germain to proceed to the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals.

When asked if Sir Alex Ferguson, who retired in 2013, left Solskjaer a nice office, the current boss told Norwegian podcast Fotballklubben: “There have been some managers in between, and much has been done since. It looks very different now and much more modernized. It’s a really nice office. He [Mourinho] left nothing behind. There are some United history books but I expect it was the club who left them there.
