Hawala manager was on Wednesday arrested for allegedly transferring money to Somalia in a crackdown in Eastleigh.

Hawala is a traditional method of transferring funds whereby money is paid to an agent who then instructs an associate in the other country or area to pay the person supposed to receive the money.
