Kenyan Gospel Artist Guardian Angel has dropped a new song dubbed ‘Mercy’
The Singer pleads with God to have mercy on him for being a sinner and doing things that are not right in God’s eyes.
Guardian Angel has in a previous Interview mentioned that the society places certain expectations on Gospel Artists yet the reality is that most of them are struggling with sin.
His song comes after the scandals in the Gospel Industry that exposed some musicians on their involvement in worldly pleasures.
Guardian Angel says that Gospel Artists are human too and can fall into temptations just like any other person.
In his song ‘Mercy Guardian Angel speaks on the greed for the worldly pleasures and he admits that he may have been a victim of such desires.
The song is inspired by people and their weakness and the singer places himself in a position where he opens up about struggle with sin.
While hyping the song, Guardian Angel is intentional as he asked his fans to pray for Gospel Musicians.
“We go through a lot too – lack of money and provision, depression, abusive relationships/marriages, broken families, childlessness and the list goes on. It’s just that the ONE who commissioned us is greater than any level of misery the enemy brings forth” he said in his post
