Kandara MP Alice Wahome claims that Raila Odinga is the biggest threat to the building bridges initiative.
Addressing the press, Wahome further claimed Raila is a threat to the Building Bridges Initiative which was borne out of the Friday, March 9, handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The legislator argued it was illogical for the Opposition leader to purport he was working with Jubilee government and supporting Uhuru but at the same time treating Ruto as an enemy.
“It is clear from his speech at the devolution conference that he is an enemy of the Building Bridges Initiative. The double speak of supporting Uhuru and bashhing Ruto at the same time is suspect. We should see this matter as it is. It is a 2022 presidential campaign,” Wahome explained.
The MP accused Raila of using the handshake deal in attempt to silence other politicians with contrary opinions to his agenda, vowing not to sit aside and watch the former premier rocking Jubilee’s boat.
“We will not keep quiet because some people are intimidating us to do so. We will respond to every issue of national importance, ” she said.
