Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich is spending the 4th day at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations following what the DCI has termed as mismanagement of public funds.
The CS is been grilled for the loss Kes 21billion that was meant for the construction of Arror and Kamwerer dams in Elgeyo Marakwet.
According to rumours the CS had been summoned to Statehouse to amid unconfirmed pressure to quit office.
There was speculation that the CS’s meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House signalled his intention to step aside before he is formally taken to court.
According to a senior detective who sought anonymity said that they needed the CS to clarify some issues which were apparently not clear to the investigators.
He arrived at DCI headquarters at while accompanied by his lawyer Katwa Kigen.
