Kenya RedCross has taken goodies to victims of fire inferno at Commercial in Landimawe.
Some of the leaders who were present during the distribution of the goodies is MP Jaguar who had teamed up with the Red Cross to provided items to the affected families.
The fire inferno at Commercial in Landimawe ward reportedly razed down more than 400 houses and left four people dead.
MP Jaguar expressed his grief saying that it is indeed sad that Kenya has to deal with such ordeals due to poor infrastructure.
Kenya Red Cross has been on the frontline to serve the people during disasters and their efforts to ensure that they manage disasters have been lauded as a result of their improved fast paced services.
They have also been actively participating in top projects.
Last month, they set up a Water treatment plant in Kaanwa, Tharaka Nithi County, a project that guarantees clean and safe water to over 3,000 people in the Kaanwa centre and its surroundings.
Previously, residents in the area would fetch raw water from a nearby river. Their services have been of impact in the society and this is indeed a commendable act that many Kenyans take pride in.
