Death can be considered one of the cruellest beasts in life.Dealing with this can take a toll on anyone both emotionally and physically as there is no preparation for this pain in the lose of loved ones.

Chesang Kiptala, father of slain Nairobi lawyer Robert Chesang, has not eaten anything since learning of son’s murder by men allegedly hired by his wife on Sunday, February 17.

The 70-year-old man is now frail and can barely make a complete sentence before he takes a long pause and spends most of her time under a tree as he stares blankly at the sky.

Kiptala has to be carried around by family members every time he wants to join the mourners or move from the scorching Baringo sun.

The deteriorating health status is now worrying his wife, Florah Chesang, who fear she could lose her dear husband to depression.

“I appeal to the government to arrest those who killed my son because we may lose his father. He is not in good shape,” she pleaded.
