The COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli has revealed why Deputy president Dr William Samoei Ruto cannot listen to him.
Speaking during a televised interview with Citizen TV, Atwoli said laughably said that DP Ruto cannot to him because he( Atwoli) was poor, a son of a peasant.
The COTU boss however added that one day one time, Ruto will have to remember him.
This followed a heated debate during an interview show dubbed JKLIVE hosted by Jeff Koinange on Wednesday night.
Atwoli was commenting on the state of the nation, the ongoing investigations into the billions lost in dams construction scandal and the future of Kenyan politics.
Atwoli however maintained that President Uhuru Kenyatta means well for this country but “he has no cabinet, no advisers; he has nobody who understands local and international issues.”
He further said that “Ruto is a good politician, he is a shrewd politician, he is articulate with issues and can be our president but he lacks good advisers. If you have supporters who can dare the head of state then you cannot make it; those are the people who will him (Ruto) down.”
