Uhuru parties hard with Waiguru, Shebesh after scathing devolution speech

President Uhuru Kenyatta, together with his DP William Ruto, on Tuesday night, had a rare experience of unwinding at a music show after attending the Devolution Conference in Kirinyaga County.

They were also joined by the host Governor Anne Waiguru.

The main entertainers at the event were performers Sir Elvis and Kidum.

President Uhuru and DP Ruto ensured to maintain befitting looks as they graced the event.

The president wore a checked shirt, a cowboy hat, and boots.

Citizen TV anchor, Jeff Koinange, was the emcee of the event graced by some of the highest profiled personalities in the country.

He has recently established a strong working relationship with Sir Elvis of hosting sold-out country music events in the country.

Some other key individuals at the event were the Public Service CAS Rachael Shebesh, Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina, and Secretary Digital, Innovations & Diaspora Communications Dennis Itumbi.

The president had opened the sixth annual Devolution Conference with the theme “Deliver. Transform. Measure” and a clarion call of “Remaining Accountable.”

Over 6,000 officials attended the conference, with intention of boosting the economy as delegates.

Governor Waiguru had earlier distributed 150,000 condoms for use during the conference.
