Torreira’s three-match ban upheld after Arsenal’s unsuccessful appeal

Lucas Torreira will miss three matches for Arsenal after his ban was upheld following an unsuccessful appeal by the Gunners. 

The Uruguayan was dismissed in the north London derby vs Tottenham, which finished 1-1, after a challenge on Danny Rose. 

Arsenal attempted to have the ban rescinded, but they have failed, meaning Torreira will be absent for an extended spell.
