She has shared a post in her Instagram account as she prepare for her life saving surgery. She wrote; ” March 2018..(my life saving surgery at the CEC)
Hey fam. Endometriosis Awareness Month. This was my chillspot every single day. I dreaded this walk. Firstly, it’s always hard for me to get out of bed when I’ve gone through surgery.

The raw excruciating pain is not anything i can describe. But in America, it doesn’t matter. You walk right after surgery. I never understood why they would make me walk right after surgery and every other day. Well firstly, this is to prevent pneumonia, blood clots and improve mobility. Hata na umauru yangu, nilitii, nikatembea tu nikilia but ilibidi.

Alafu unajua sasa hakuna kutoka nje, huwezi cheki jua. So hii ilikuwa base yangu maze kuconnect na the outside world. Saa hiyo outside world hapo ni machimney na mamoshi but ilikuwa inanibamba sana.

Those 3 boxes were connected to my lungs. Woe unto me when those things would drain and I’d be walking. Lord, Jehovah Jireh. The pain.
My message to you all is to keep speaking about Endometriosis, Thoracic Endometriosis(endo in the lungs, diaphragm, chest cavity) it spreads everywhere. Fight for women to get a cure.
