Mission possible: how can Man United come back against PSG?

Sky Sports have come up with the main stats of United’s first meeting with PSG in February in order to point out our strengths and weaknesses.

Only one Premier League team has ever won at Parc des Princes. Moreover, no club has ever progressed to the next round of the Champions League after losing the first leg at home with a two-goal deficit. However, we are Manchester United and we know how to make historic comebacks. Sky Sports have examined our first clash with Les Parisiens at Old Trafford and here is their advice to The Red Devils.

“And Solskjaer has won it!”

Attack

The Red Devils have to be clinical in the opponent’s box. Our lads had only one shot on target in February. Ole’s players have to score at least two goals in order to restore the status quo and Marcus Rashford is the man we can all hope for.

“In terms of the stats, United actually carved an equal number of chances in front of goal and recorded a superior number of crosses and dribbles – in addition to taking far more touches in the opposition box. But, despite that activity in PSG’s area, Solskjaer’s men made fewer attempts on goal than Tuchel’s side and only achieved one shot on target in the entire game.”
