Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has shared photos of his grandmother’s burial.
Through a tweet, Governor Sonko eulogized his late grandmother Fatuma Swaleh Ali as a woman he owes a lot for who he is today.
Fatuma Swaleh Ali collapsed on Sunday and was buried at Kikowani Muslim Cemetery, Mombasa.
“During burial of my late grandmother Fatuma Swaleh Ali at Kikowani Muslim Cemetery in Mombasa. My late grandma passed on last night after collapsing. If it was not for her, I couldn’t be where I am today. Inna Lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un,” read Sonko’s tweet.
