PHOTOS: Kenyatta’s arrival in Kirinyaga County for the opening of the 6th Annual Devolution Conference

President Uhuru Kenyatta will today be presiding over the 6th Annual Devolution Conference after his arrival in Kirinyaga County.

On his way to Kirinyaga University,Kenyatta interacted with students of St. Bakhita, Kiburia Girls, in Kirinyaga County.

The five-day meeting is aimed at bringing together Governors from different parts of the country.

The Governors will be discussing about their deliverables and what they have achieved in each of their counties.

The meeting will also fuel an important milestone in Devolution and provide the stakeholders with an opportunity to review the performance of County Governments.

The Head of state also interacted with exhibitors at the 6th Annual Devolution Conference. The exhibitors showcased various products and services that are key to the realization of the Big 4 Agenda.

The theme of this year’s Conference is “Deliver. Transform. Measure” with a clarion call of “Remaining Accountable”.

The Conference is anchored on the Big Four Agenda that include Trade, Agriculture, Health, Affordable Housing and infrastructure sectors.
