Manchester United Told They Can’t Afford Gareth Bale As Liverpool Eye The Next Key Piece In Their Transfer Jigsaw And Why Arsenal Are Praying For Neymar Move

Here’s a look at the latest big transfer tales doing the rounds in the Premier League:

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly interested in signing Matthias Ginter – who he previously bought while in charge of Dortmund.

Ginter moved to Borussia Monchengladbach in 2017, and it seems the Reds manager has continued to monitor the defender’s career in Germany.

Klopp has a number of top centre-backs at his disposal, with the best in the Premier League in Virgil van Dijk the first name on his teamsheet.

Joe Gomez appears to be Klopp‘s favoured partner for the Holland international, but Dejan Lovren and more recently Joel Matip have stood alongside Van Dijk at the back this season.

According to Calciomercato, Klopp isn’t entirely convinced by Matip and is looking into the possibility of replacing him with Ginter.

Bale-ing out?
Gareth Bale’s possible transfer to Manchester United is reportedly in danger of ever happening due to the Real Madrid star’s huge wages.

According to The Sun, the Wales international earns a staggering £650,000-a-week, which is too much to handle for any top flight club in England.

Chelsea and Tottenham are also keeping tabs on the former Spurs winger as the summer transfer window comes into view.

But the Welshman’s agent Jonathan Barnett has revealed: “Gareth loves it there. As for going to another club, no one could afford him.”

Bale has been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu in recent weeks as despite his agent’s comments he is reportedly unhappy in Spain.

Neymar news
Real Madrid‘s reported interest in Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar may be good news for Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

The Gunners have been linked with a number of players in recent weeks now that the season is starting to draw to its conclusion.

Arsenal were only able to bring in Denis Suarez on loan in January, and Unai Emery is keen to splash some cash when the summer window swings open.

One man high on the Gunners’ wishlist, according to numerous reports, is Serbian international Luka Jovic.

As things stand the 21-year-old is on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt from Benfica, with the German club set to activate their €6million clause to sign him on a permanent deal.
