Ashley Young has high hopes on Manchester United beating PSG to advance at Old Trafford when they visit Paris for the second leg match.

He believes that Man United can overturn the 2-0 loss to PSG despite the tough game that he knows it will be.

Presnel Kimpembe and Kyllian Mbappe scored the goals for the French side but Young has admitted that he has hopes Man United can play to win the second meeting on Wednesday. Young avers that the Red Devils have only one option and that is to win the match. Paul Pogba remains suspended for the match after receiving a red card during the initial match.

Young: Man United capable of beating PSG to advance

“We know what we’re capable of. People can write us off. People were writing us off at the start of the season and people are writing us off now. It’s no different. Obviously, it’s going to be tough. It’s not going to be easy. We’ve got to go over there, win the game and score goals. I’ve got every faith if we defend well and if we create the chances that I know we can do, we can win the game. Win the game. That’s exactly what it is. We’ve got to go out there and win the game. We can’t worry too much about them, it’s all about us.” Young told Sky Sports.
