The driver of the saloon car that was involved in an accident on Saturday at Kumpa area on the Kajiado -Namanga highway, in which three people died was drunk driving.
The driver was then arrested and taken to Kajiado Police Station.
The accident occurred after a motorcycle carrying two pillion passengers — a man and his wife — was hit from behind by a saloon car.
The 45-year-old woman died on the spot while the man, 55, and the rider died while receiving treatment at Kajiado Referral Hospital.
The bodies of the deceased were moved to the Kajiado Level 5 Referral Hospital mortuary.
