Former Arsenal striker Charlie Nicholas has revealed when Alexis Sanchez is likely to leave Manchester United.
Nicholas claims that Sanchez might leave in this Summer after he got injured again on Sunday.
The current injury is expected to sideline the winger for six to eight weeks according to the Chilean national team doctor. The former Barcelona and Arsenal man has struggled to stamp his authority in Man United’s starting team partly due to injury issues and poor form.
“Sanchez had the huff with Arsenal over a contract so what type of mood is he going to be in when he doesn’t get a game? I don’t think you hang about for that and I think Sanchez will be gone in the summer. They can sell him, get some money, get him off the wage bill and they can get somebody else in. It might even be a younger version.” Nicholas added.
Competition is set to increase especially when Anthony Martial is fit. Martial signed a long term contract with the Red Devils and that affirms he is tightly in the club’s future plans.
