Chesang’s wife paraded with mugshot, detectives tighten case

Two Police officers & a retired intelligence officer have been arrested in connection to the brutal murder of Mr. Robert Chesang- an advocate of the high court of Kenya.

A vehicle & two AK47 rifles linked to the scene of crime thro’ ballistics analysis have also been confiscated.

Hon.Maisy Pauline Omung’ala Chesang-the wife of the late advocate & one of the security guards-Alex Wanyonyi Wanyama were also arrested.

One of the police officers has been positively identified as the man who tied one of the security guards on arrival at the entrance that night.

Police will detain Senior Resident Magistrate Maisy Chesang for nine days, to allow more time to conclude investigations into her role in the murder of her husband and lawyer Robert Chesang.

The Nyeri Magistrate was arraigned at the Mavoko Law Courts on Monday morning with three other suspects as investigations into the death of city lawyer Chesang continues.
She spent the night in police custody together with three police officers. A retired officer linked to the murder was arrested in Baragoi, Samburu County on Saturday.
Police believe she is the link between the wife and Chesang’s killers.
