The event which was held in her home County of Kwale was a closely-guarded affair and was only attended by close family members and invited guests.
The couple opted for a traditional ceremony in which Mararo paid dowry and exchanged vows with the former Citizen TV news anchor.
Reports indicate that the groom is an information technology (IT) specialist based in Nairobi.
Dena, 39, has a son from a previous relationship.
