Sauti Sol weigh in on the state of Kenya’s Gospel Industry

Kenya’s Legendary artists team Sauti Sol have weighed in on the state of Kenya’s Gospel Industry.

Speaking to Mseto East Africa, the team says they does not quite much believe in the existence of the categories and that artists have to be grouped as either secular or gospel artists.

Bien of Sauti Sol believes that the important part is about how one lives their lives and what impact their songs have on people.

He also states that not everyone in perfect and mentioned that they are also believers of God knowing very well the far that God has brought them in life and in the music scene.

Bien also pointed out that even the people that Kenya’s refer to as gospel artists have recently been facing backlash over some things that they were caught up in.

He also says that no matter someone does, God would not judge you the same way that human beings will.

Savara on his end says that everyone should be free to worship in their own way.

Chimano weighed in on DK Kwenye beat’s saga saying that he sympathizes with the victim and DK should keep praying if he believes in forgiveness.

Savara says that some men might also be caught up in such scandals only that they have not bee unraveled yet.

Bien added that he does not endorse the act but such things happen in this world and DK needs to begin a new chapter in his life.

The duo have been in the music industry for years and one of the songs that touched on God’s worship is ‘Kuliko Jana’

A song that was well received by even the Gospel Industry.
