Kakamenga Senator Cleophas Malala and for sports CS Rashid Echesa have not been seeing each other eye to eye.
Some days back, there was a nasty political duel between Rashid Echesa and senator Malala degenerated into farce amid revelations the minister allegedly tried to frame the latter with fake nude photographs.
Rashid, a self-professed ally of Deputy President William Ruto reportedly paid some three journalists to photoshop Malala’s image to portray him in a compromising situation with a non-existent woman.
However Senator Malala will have peaceful nights after his long time political enemy was fired following the Cabinet Reshuffle by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Sports Cabinet Secretary Richard Echesa has been fired and replaced by former Education CS Amina Mohammed.
In Amina’s place, KNEC Chairman George Magoha has been nominated to head the Education docket.The Principal Secretary, State Department of Broadcasting and Telecommunication, Fatuma Hirsi has also been sacked.
