He was fired on Friday morning in President Kenyatta’s latest cabinet reshuffle. His docket was then handed over to ambassador Amina Mohamed, who has left Education Ministry for Prof George Magoha.

While in the ministry, he might not have been able to champion for Ruto’s 2022 bid. The fired CS will now have to engage in many Tanga Tanga missions across the country, championing for the election of Ruto as President.
