ODM party pioneer Raila Odinga has slammed DP William Ruto over his comments on the Arror, Kimwarer dams scandals.
Ruto amid an occasion on Thursday denied reports that the Sh21 billion designated to the dams had disappeared.
“You’ have heard that the state has lost about Sh21 billion which is a level untruth! The cash being referred to is about Sh7 billion, and for each coin that has been paid, we have a bank ensure,” he said.
Be that as it may, Raila talking amid a gathering with ODM individuals on Friday, said no one is exempt from the rules that everyone else follows in the battle against corruption.
“No one is exempt from the rules that everyone else follows. On the off chance that someone is taking cash, don’t go and yell there that ooh Sh7 billion is nothing,” he said.
Raila included, “Sh7b isn’t take change! Sio pesa ya kununua mandazi halafu wanaenda pande hii wanasema ooh sisi ni wakulima.. akitoka pale ooh mimi ni mfugaji.. yeye nikama popo.”
A helper to Ruto was reserved into the multi-billion dam scandal which is under dynamic examinations by DCI.
Ken Osinde is on the DCI radar after an organization he is related with is suspected to have assumed a job in the multi-billion tenders for development of Kimwarer and Arror dams in Elgeyo Marakwet province.
