National soccer team Harambee Stars Coach has revealed the team that is set to face Ghana on 23rd of this month in Accra.
The team is expected to commence training on the 17th of this month to prepare for the 2019 Africa Cup of nations qualifier match .
Two foreign based players David Sessay who turn out for Crawley Town, in England and Christopher Tangen Mbamba who plays for Swedish side Oskarshamns have been included in the squad.
Migne has retained majority of the players who did duty in the last three qualifying matches.
Only nine local based players including Kariobangi Shark’s Duke Abuya were included in the squad.
Kenya and Ghana have already qualified for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations which will be held in Egypt in June.
Elsewhere, National Under 23 head coach Francis Kimanzi has named three foreign based players in the provisional squad that will head to camp on 4th March ahead of their forthcoming Africa Cup of Nations Under 23 championship 2 legged qualifier against Sudan.
Kimanzi named Ovella Ochieng of Sweden’s Vasalund FC, Sydney Alwyn Tera of Saburtalo FC in Georgia and Joseph Okumu of Real Monarchs of USA in his 25 man provisional squad that also includes Sofapaka striker Pistone Mutamba, James Mazembe and Sydney Lokale both of Kariobangi Sharks , Mike Kibwage of KCB, Tobias Otieno of Sony Sugar and Jared Owiti of AFC Leopards among others.
The Emerging Stars face Sudan on the 20th of this month in Khartoum while the return leg is scheduled for Nairobi three days later.
The winner of the 2 legged clash will face either Nigeria or Libya in the next round with the winner qualifying for the 2019 Africa cup of nations finals in Egypt.
Top three finishers at the finals will qualify for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo Japan.
