Arsenal’s Dream of Beating Tottenham is Boosted By the Return of their Two Stars

Arsenal will go into Saturday’s north London derby against Spurs full of confidence after three wins on the spin in the league.

Having beaten Huddersfield Town and Southampton, Unai Emery’s side dispatched Bournemouth in style on Wednesday evening as they recorded a 5-1 win at the Emirates.

That has left the Gunners in the driving seat for fourth ahead of Manchester United and Chelsea, while their good form has also seen the team close to within four points of Tottenham ahead of the derby at Wembley.

Spurs looked out of sight not so long ago but a fourth league win on the trot for the team and they will be a single point behind their rivals with nine games left to play.

Well, the Gunners have been given some good news on the injury front ahead of the game with Laurent Koscielny and Stephan Lichtsteiner in full training.

The former, who played the full 90 minutes in the win over the Cherries, picked up a knock to his right knee in the game, while the latter wasn’t involved in midweek due to a minor back issue.

That means both could be named in the 18-man squad ahead of such a crucial game for the team.
