Clashes between Chelsea and Tottenham tend to be fiery, and Harry Kane followed tradition by appearing to aim an headbutt at Cesar Azpilicueta on Wednesday.
One of the most controversial moments of the match saw Harry Kane appear to headbutt Cesar Azpilicueta.
Despite the rising tensions, the match has not quite reached ‘Battle of the Bridge’ proportions.
Pre- Match: Sarri-Kepa Incident
The pre-match build-up was dominated by speculation of whether Maurizio Sarri would drop Kepa after the goalkeeper refused to be substituted off in the League Cup final on Sunday.
Sarri did indeed leave Kepa on the bench, with Willy Caballero named in the starting XI, and Chelsea responded with a bright first half in which Gonzalo Higuain hit the post.
And true to form between the two sides, tempers flared between the two captains as Kane and Azpilicueta squared up.
Kane appeared to aim a headbutt at the defender but no action was taken by the referee.

As there was no card given to Kane for the incident, Arsenal fans are hoping that the Spurs striker may face retrospective disciplinary action.
