Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji, speaking to Kayole residents on Thursday said he will probe into a vigilante group known as ‘Hessy’.
The group is said to be led by an undercover cop, hunting down and killing suspected criminals without trial.
“No one should be killed; suspects must go through legal process,” said the DPP.
He further added that he will be asking Inspector General Boinnet to investigate the matter.
“I will write to IG to investigate on Hessy vigilante group.”
The ‘Hessy’ groupis reported to be killing residents of Dandora, Kayole and other areas in Eastlands area.
