Chelsea players react on Chelsea’s Kepa dropping

A good number of Chelsea’s players showed their support for Maurizio Sarri after dropping Kepa Arrizabalaga during the 2-0 victory over Tottenham on Wednesday night.

Kepa refused to come off during the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City, an action which saw Sarri drop the shot-stopper against the London rivals.

Willy Caballero started in between the sticks for the Blues and helped his side with a 2-0 win while keeping a clean sheet. Pedro, who scored the opening goal at Stamford Bridge, insists the Blues boss retains the respect of his players following the big call.

Pedro Rodriguez says , “He had to make a decision. He has done that and we simply respect him because we always respect all the managers.”

“We have always been with him. We have always talked about all the problems we have had.”

Pedro as well highlighted on their dressing room unity.

“We have all talked to each other in the dressing room. We’ve also talked to Willy and we’ve talked to the coach. The truth is that we have solved all the problems and I think it has been a [small] incident rather than a serious problem.”

“It always serves to learn. We are with Kepa, with Willy, and with the manager. This is the path that we have to follow.”

Chelsea will be up against Fulham over the weekend.
