Late Kikuyu Musician Joseph Kamaru’s Wife Follows Him 4 Months Later: Dies of High Blood Pressure

The wife to celebrated musician Joseph wa Kamaru passed away a week ago, four months after her husband passed away.

She died of high blood pressure, as well as other ailments while at her daughter’s house in Rongai

Wangari was staying at Kamaru’s home in Watuha village in Kangema in Murang’a, where the family is preparing to bury her on Friday.

Her son, Boniface Maina, issued a statement on the passing of his mother:

“She died on Saturday at around 10 pm, when she visited my sister in Rongai. Our mother has been ailing for three years and had been treated in various hospitals,”
