EPL: The Gunners ready to ‘gun’ down injury struck Bournemouth

Arsenal will host Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium after their comfortable 2-0 home win against Southampton on Sunday, February 24.

The Gunners will hope to continue with their top form after winning five of their last seven Premier League matches (W5, L2). Unai Emery’s side have a good home record with 11 wins, two draws and one defeat.

The 13-time Premier League champions will be without defenders Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin who are both sidelined due to knee injuries. Arsenal will also miss the services of Englishman Danny Welbeck who is out due to an ankle injury.

Bournemouth visit the Emirates in a poor form with just two league wins in nine matches. Moreover, Eddie Howe’s men have so far lost all of their five away trips to the top-six this season and have managed only one win in their previous seven matches against Arsenal.

INJURY CRISIS

The Cherries face an injury crisis ahead of the tie as David Brooks, Lewis Cook, Steve Cook, Callum Wilson and Simon Francis remain sidelined. Colombian Jefferson Lerma is suspended after picking 10 yellow cards.
