Woman Rep Rehema Jaldesa among those behind fake defamation video

Two members of the National Assembly failed to show up at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) following a defamation video that went viral.

The two, Eldas MP Adan Keynan, and Abdikarim Osman Mohamed, who were summoned alongside Woman Representatives Rehema Jaldesa (Isiolo), and Wangui wa Ngirici (Kirinyaga) failed to appear terming that they did not receive any notification.

According to Mr Osman, “I have not received any summon from the DCI nor the police. They all know where to find me but no one has communicated with me so far regarding the purported summon.”

The four were accused of defaming Wajir Woman representative Fatuma Gedi using a fabricated sex video which she later denied that she was the one in the video.
