During the final stop of the Meek Mill’s tour in Houston the Philadelphia rapper was awarded an official proclamation dubbing February 24th as ‘Meek Mill Day.’
The award comes in large part due to his recent work in reforming the criminal justice system since being released last year.
Ever since his highly publicized release from prison last year, Meek Mill has become one of Hip Hop’s favorite underdogs. Now, a Texas metropolis wants to give their city a day to celebrate the Dreamchasers general.
When Mill was in Houston for his Championships Tour, he visited twenty young people at the Harris County Juvenile Probation Department, where he offered the at-risk youth advice and motivation.
