The government has taken 340 guns from the previous private owners.
Th Licensing Board confiscated the guns after vetting over 3500 licensed owners.
Yesterday, Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i oversaw the activity where he said that vatting will have to done to all private firearm holders.
Matiangi also added that the process will be taking place in 90 days without an extension.
When the deadline lapses, those who will not have been vetted will be illegal gun holders.
