The four legislators Eldas MP Aden Keynan, Abdihakim Mohamed of Fafi Constituency, Isiolo Woman Representative Rehema Jaldesa and her Kirinyaga counterpart Wangui Ngirici who had been summoned to be quizzed by DCI won’t appear.
The legislators are accused of uttering defamatory statements that portrayed the MP in bad light following the circulation of the unverified video, which Ms. Gedi dismissed as fake.
According to DCI Kinoti said the orders were premature and uncalled for. He said there was no evidence so far to link the four to the said claims and therefore no need for them to show up as asked.
