Malindi OCPD Matawa Muchangi
Malindi OCPD Matawa Muchangi has passed on, on Monday morning while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Mombasa.
According to reports, Muchangi died while undergoing treatment after he was rushed to the hospital on Friday.
It is reported that Muchangi was rushed to the hospital on Friday after he collapsed at his home and broke his collarbone.
Malindi Director of Criminal Investigations Officer (DCIO) Anthony Sunguti confirmed the death.
“The OCPD fell ill on Sunday evening at his home before he was rushed to the hospital where he passed on hours later,” Sunguti revealed.
The DCIO, however, stated that a postmortem would be conducted to establish what led to the OCPD’s death.
