3 KNUN Officials To Appear In Court For Disobedience.

Three Kenya National Union of Nurses officials led by their Secretary General, SethPanyako, are set to appear before the Employment and Labor Relations court tomorrow to explain why they should not be punished for disobeying court orders to suspend the nurses’ strike.

The Employment and Labour Relations court has summoned the union officials for failing to call off the strike. However, Panyako insists that the industrial action is on until the nurses’ demands are met, adding that they will not relent, even if he is jailed.

This comes after nurses in various counties resumed to work giving room for reconciliation and sorting their pending issues as enshrined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement 2017.
