Gor Mahia Show Algeria’s Hussein Dey Why they Own the Day

Kenyan Champions Gor Mahia’s good home run in the CAF Confederations Cup continued today with a 2-0 thumping of Algerian Side Hussein Dey in a match played at the Kasarani Stadium.

Gor Mahia had to exhibit a little patience as their excellent first half performance went unrewarded despite creating plenty of chances.

It took the Kenyan record league winners 83 minutes to break the deadlock as Francis Kahata fired to the back of the net from his right foot.

Hussein Dey would then have Harrag sent off after second yellow.

Gor’s goal machine Jacques Tuyisenge put the match to bed with an 85th minute sucker punch to all but confirm Gor Mahia’s win and send it to the top of Group D on 6 points.
