Arsenal have released an update on team fitness. Laurent Koscielny has got a minor issue with his left calf. He will be assessed ahead clash. Ainsley Maitland-Niles has got an illness. He’ll also be assessed ahead of the encounter.
On Thursday, Arenal beat BATE 3-0 and, therefore, qualified to the Europa League’s Round of 16. The convincing win was, however, darkened when captain Laurent Koscielny, visibly hurt, was subbed off in the second half. Unai Emery allayed fears concerning captain’s injury:
“It’s a precaution. We’ll know more tomorrow, but I hope he can be OK on Sunday or next week.
“It’s not broken, it’s muscular, but he was starting to not feel great and we thought if he carried on it could have got worse.”
Hector Bellerin, Rob Holding and Danny Welbeck are recovering after surgeries.
The rest of the squad is available for selection.
