AFC Leopards Woes Continue as Slum Boys Mathare Strike Like Thunder

Will AFC Leopards survive the pressure of the Kenyan Premier League or will it get relegated?

Ingwe has seen a great turn of fortunes as the team continuosly keeps loosing matches left, right and center.

Ingwe’s troubles got even more deeper today as Slum boys Mathare United dented their hopes of survival this season.

Mathare United ran out 2-0 winners over Ingwe in the KPL match played at the Machakos Stadium.

Substitutes Ronald Reagan and Tyson Otieno rose from the bench to hand Mathare United their first win after five matches.

Reagan cleverly lobbed the ball over keeper Eric Ndayishimiye’s head with four minutes left on the clock before Otieno sunk the hearts of the home fans with a late goal that handed Ingwe their sixth straight defeat.

All seemed well, or at least new coach Casa Mbungo thought that he had finally picked a point since his arrival in Kenya, but Mathare United players had other ideas.

AFC Leopards loss today means that Ingwe has now lost six straight matches in the top league and will remain in relegation zone for another week.
