‘Wololo!’ bankers and sugar millers to fight for Kenya Cup

The Kabras Sugar coach, with a tongue twisting name from South Africa, Henry Du Plessis is eyeing to thrash KCB on Saturday relying on his tip top notch form of his players. KCB are the current defending champions in the 2018 and 2019 Kenya Cup season.

On the other hand KCB will be aiming to extend and exert their dominance over the sugar millers with a plan of and thrusting a quick and fast defeat on Kabras Sugar.

Kabras Sugar are currently on the edge of breaking Nakuru’s 13 unbeaten record that they set in 2014-15 season. At the time they lead the standings with 49 points after playing ten games and losing none.

KCB has won eight matches out of nine against the millers in the past four seasons, but their South African coach- Du Plessis is confident that they can stop KCB this year.

“The boys are on fire after stopping both Quins and Homeboyz in our last two tricky fixtures. We have had three good training sessions and we look forward to another good away game,” Du Plessis told the Standard Sports.

The South African, however, said they will be tactical against Curtis Olago’s side saying they are going to play the game as a final both in Erick Shirley Shield (ESS) and Kenya Cup.

“We want to win every trophy and that means both the Kenya Cup and ESS. I have a full squad at my disposal where two strong line ups will be drawn for the two ties.

“We have also worked on how to finish our games and that will be key in Nairobi,” he said.

The sugar millers’ South African coach believes the millers have a perfect strategy to end their winless run against the hosts with the likes of Wokorach, Basson, Tanga and Sikuta in tip top notch form.
