Tension is Baringo as armed Rustlers steal 50 animals

Heavily armed raiders have staged another raid in Embosos village, Arabal location, Baringo county less than 24 hours after a bandit attack left five people dead in Kapindasum in Baringo South.

About 50 animals belonging to six families are reported to have been stolen at Embosos village and are suspected to be en-route to Amaya, in Tiaty Sub-County.

However, no fatalities or injuries were reported. In the wee hours of Thursday, heavily armed raiders attacked the sleepy Kapindasum village killing five people among them three pupils and two adults before taking away livestock that were later recovered.

In a separate incident, reports of heavy shootings at Kapedo Bridge were heard at about 8.30pm, on Thursday.
