Marcus Rashford is in the best of his form of his life for Manchester United right now, seaming through midfielders and defenders easily as well as scoring in between them and past the goal keepers.
The stats show that too, with the 21-year-old currently on nine Premier League goals for the season so far, which is the best league total in his entire career, and we’re still in February.
He’s also assisted more league goals than ever before, providing six assists, one more than the entire league campaign last season already.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s arrival, combined with Rashford being deployed more centrally, has pushed the England striker to another level this season.
No wonder there is speculation about a possible new contract on the horizon for the young forward.
But just how good can Rashford become?
The English forward is currently rated at 82 overall on FIFA 19, which puts him on par with players like Wissam Ben Yedder, Mario Balotelli, Oliver Giroud and Paco Alcacer. Not bad for a 21-year-old.
His best attributes currently, according to FIFA 19, are his sprint speed (93), acceleration (90), agility (88), shot power (87), stamina (86), dribbling (84), ball control (84) and positioning (83).
He also has the Power Free-Kick, Beat Offside Trap, Selfish, Flair, Long Shot Taker, Speed Dribbler and Technical Dribbler traits.
His finishing attribute currently stands at a rather modest 79, which is the same as Richarlison, Ante Rebic, Luuk De Jong and Charlie Austin. However, it’s his potential that really stands out.
FIFA 19 have given Rashford a potential ability rating of 90, which is outstanding.If he reached this potential, that would make Rashford be at the same level, or close to, the likes of Harry Kane (90), Luis Suarez (91), Eden Hazard (91) and Neymar (92).
Manchester United are in talks with Rashford over a new deal and they should look to sign him up as quickly as possible, as they have a potentially world-class striker on their hands.
