A man has been arrested after he was positively identified as one of the gangsters who raped three girls during a robbery in Kericho.
Police have also arrested 14 others linked to the heinous crime.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, the girls picked out the suspect from an identification parade

“We have several suspects in custody and we are closing in on others who have gone underground but are said to have participated in the murder of the grandmother,” Litein Police Divisional boss Ali Abdi said on Thursday.
Many of the men arrested are casual labourers who were constructing a house for one of the woman’s sons. The construction is adjacent to the main house, the scene of the crime.
The other suspects are boda boda riders who reside in the area that borders Bomet County.
The three girls aged 11, 13 & 20 years, positively identified the man after an identification parade was conducted. During the incident, the house help was also seriously hit with a blunt object. The businessman, three daughters and the maid were rushed to Litein Mission Hospital by neighbours who responded to the distress call.
