Tales of Humanity: Kenyan Man captures the world by Providing Clean water to Isavo Wild Animals

Taswira inaweza kujumuisha: anga, nje na asili

For a couple of years now I’ve followed Patrick’s work. Sadly we missed him two years ago during our time in Kenya. Despite critical illness he continues to haul water to save wildlife in Tsavo National Park in Kenya.

As you can imagine in some wildlife reserves in Africa it gets mighty dry. In Tsavo as you can see in the images below, it has been terribly dry for a long time. Decades ago elephants and other wildlife would simply migrate in search of water. However, since we’ve put up fences, built towns and cities and crisscrossed the land with roads, that’s no longer possible.

To keep the wild animals from dying hauling water to save them is crucial. So, our hat-off to people like Patrick who make it their life’s mission to deliver this life sustaining liquid to them.

Recently he reached out for help. We decided it was time to get more involved and sent $250. We’d love to have you join us by donating directly to his Wildlife Trust.
